Mountain State Brewing Company was established by two West Virginia born stepbrothers. After arriving at the idea of a brewpub separately, they joined forces and opened the doors of the Thomas location in the fall of 2005. In 2015-16, the brewhouse and cellar were expanded and in 2022 a full kitchen was added. Now serving signature 12″ flatbreads along with salads and pepperoni rolls, the Thomas location has come a long way from its original 7-barrel brewhouse and taproom. Stop by and see us!
MSBC distributes throughout its home state of West Virginia, and neighboring Maryland, providing handcrafted ales to Elkins, Morgantown, Snowshoe, Charleston, Fayetteville, Weston, Shepherdstown and Garrett County, MD.
