Sue and James Tilly are HillTilly Distillery – Tilly’s our surname and we live in the Adelaide Hills. Wanting a change from the chaos of juggling 3 jobs, family and wildlife rescue, Sue was keen to start a home-based business that gave her the time to concentrate on the important things; Family, Gin and Wildlife.
HillTilly gins and vodkas are made on our home property in Upper Sturt. Having no grid connection or council water supply, HillTilly is fuelled by solar panels and runs on Adelaide Hills spring water. Our gin and vodka is made purely from spring water, sugar, yeast, sunshine and love!
We are a small batch, hand-crafted distillery in the Adelaide Hills. Officially established in July 2021. We use premium seasonal ingredients, sourcing local and organic in preference to imported produce. We do not have a cellar door at this stage but we are frequent market stall holders. Please check our location for updates on our next market – and come visit us for a free tasting. We look forward to meeting you!
