Marillenhof Destillerie Kausl

At the end of the Spitzer Graben, where the Wachau World Heritage region disappears into the high plateau of the Waldviertel, the Marillenhof distillery and the Wachau-Genuss Shop Kausl are located on the old Roman road in Ötz.

In the Marillenhof, the Kausl’s conjure up homemade, heavenly delicacies from the sun-ripened fruit. Original Wachau apricots as well as apples, pears, cherries, elderberries, blackberries, peaches, grapes, rowanberries, plums and other rare types of fruit and berries are processed into specialties.

Whether as jam, nectar, brandy or liqueur. Offering “pure nature” of the highest quality is the maxim of the Kausl family business.
