In 2008 Dr. Naz Abdurahman, a professor of Organic Chemistry and his partner Peter Kimmerly were hobby distillers for quite some decades. Today, they share their knowledge and produce two superior spirits Phrog Vodka and Phrog Gin.
Phrog Gin has a unique blend of 15 botanicals, and, the owners of Island Spirits Distillery perfected their usage of own-grown ingredients such as fresh juniper berries to create their unique style. Peter Kimmerly’s recipe book shows that they experimented as well with ingredients like saffron, syrup of hibiscus flower or rooibos blueberry tea to create their remarkable taste. Being a microdistillery Island Spirits is producing in small batches only. This keeps the quality standards high and every sip something special.
