Mill Whistle Brewing is on the site of the 100 year old Safrit Lumber Mill. While this mill closed in the 70s the lumber yard next door is a viable operation. We have obtained the lovely steam whistle that announced lunch time in Beaufort every day for 100 years. Therefore, the brewery is named after this whistle. Read more...
