In 1930, the trademark of Budvar was registered. Since then, Budweiser Budvar’s light lager carries this traditional designation. Budějovický Budvar brewery has been producing beer since 1895 and has been following the tradition of beer brewing in Ceske Budejovice for almost 750 years.
