Teerenpeli Brewery was established in 1995 as one of the first microbreweries in Finland. Today we are still one of the few of those original microbreweries operating.
Our mission from the start was to use only real and original raw materials without adjuncts in order to create real and exiting experiences for our customers.
The original Teerenpeli brewery was located inside Restaurant Teerenpeli in Lahti. The brew house was 60 litres and in 1997 the brew house was upgraded to 250 litres and production of ciders was started.
In 2002 the brewery was moved to the Restaurant Taivaanranta in Lahti. A new 1 500 litre brew house was located in the dining room of the restaurant and the fermentation department together with a brand new visitors’ center was built in the cellar.
The old 200 l brew house was relocated to the Restaurant Teerenpeli Kamppi in Helsinki and is still used today to brew speciality beers for thirsty customers in Helsinki.
Answering the growing demand of our products a brand new brewery building was built in Lotila industrial area in Lahti in 2009. The fermentation capacity was increased and a bottling line was added.
This abled us to increase our sales to the retail market and also to other restaurants.
Today we produce around 500 000 l of beers and ciders for our thirsty customers around Finland.
