Heubacher Brauerei

As early as the 16th century, the noble barley juice enjoyed a large circle of friends in Heubach, as a look at the town chronicle shows. The camp book from 1580 already reports on four inns.
The development of the Hirschbrauerei is closely linked to the history of the town of Heubach. Chroniclers trace its origins back to around 1600, but there is documentary evidence that the “oldest brewery” was allowed to brew and serve beer until 1725, but it was only on May 2nd of the same year that it was granted the license to become a Schildwirtschaft with the sign “Zum Hirsch ” was awarded. At that time, the Jakob Hornegger family owned the Zum Hirsch brewery.
