With the purchase of the closure distillery in 2014, the Friz distillery started a new chapter in the production of its high-quality distillates.
A closed distillery, as the name suggests, is a distillery where all alcohol withdrawal points are under customs lock. The closure is secured with around 60 customs seals. With the new distillery, there is no need to pre-register for distilling operations during the official distilling hours (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.). Our production quantity is not limited, which means that we are allowed to produce without a limited alcohol limit. The distillates produced are stored tax-free. The alcohol tax only has to be paid when it is removed from the tax warehouse. We are also allowed to process all raw materials with the system.
