Familienbrauerei Bauhöfer

In the middle of the Ortenau, is home to the family brewery Bauhöfer. Baden’s joie de vivre and the beautiful landscape characterize the region – and one of the many culinary highlights is the beer from the idyllic village of Ulm. Between Schwarzwaldhöhen and Rheinebene, the brewing culture of Ortenau has been cultivated here for more than 160 years.
In 1852, the founder of the brewery, Ludwig Bauhöfer, built his brewery. He knew that the people in the region especially appreciate the quality and the special in terms of food and drink and soon his beer became so popular that the small family business became one of the most modern breweries within a few years.
Today we can look back on a long brewing tradition that has grown over generations. The popularity of the ULMER beers has remained unchanged to this day and the specialties of the family brewery are finding new friends every day.
