It all began over 150 years ago in a small inn with brewing rights in tranquil Gessertshausen, right in the heart of Bavaria. So far, so typical for a family brewery in Bavaria. But then our current managing director, Thomas Schimpfle, took up his position as master brewer and literally shook up the beverage market. With the art of craft brewing – open vat fermentation – and the small Steinie bottle with a pull-off cap, the Lösch-Zwerg has since conquered Germany’s refrigerators. The rest is history. Later our hip Cola mix brand Bazi, Bavarian for “rascal”, was added.
