In January 2016, the new building of the brewery in Nürnberg-Höfen was completed, the production of the main and special varieties with our new brewery begins. At the groundbreaking ceremony, i.e. the official starting signal for our brewery construction site in April 2015, the former Mayor Dr. Maly and Stefan Stang from the Association of Private Breweries Bavaria e.V. Nordbayern.de was also there and reported on what was a very exciting day for us.
We increased our tank farm in 2018 in order to be able to brew other special beers in addition to our main types.
Everything started with the brewery in 2004. The very first brew was brewed in the basement of a backyard workshop on Bärenschanzstraße – and that’s how the name and logo of the brewery came about. Back then, we mashed it in disused washing kettles (we didn’t have anything). We quickly converted beer barrels that had been sawed open as fermentation vats.
In January 2007 the move came and everything became a bit more professional. We then brewed in a backyard on Adam-Klein-Straße in Gostenhof, just a few meters from the tavern.
