As the first organic brewery in Germany, we have been brewing according to old brewing law since it was founded in 1984 at the historic brewing site at the foot of the Nuremberg Imperial Castle.

Around the small red beer brewery and whiskey distillery in Nuremberg’s Altstadthof you will find our gastronomy with Bräusstüberl, cellar bar Schmelztiegel and Restaurant Bühne as well as our summer garden. Here you can enjoy the original Nuremberg red beer, beer distillates, single malt whiskey and our down-to-earth Franconian fresh cuisine.
