This is the classic brew from Karlheinz Penning, who is currently continuing the family brewing tradition that dates back to 1623. He also brews Pils, Lager, Maibock, Christmas Bock and festival beers for spring and Christmas. The beer tastes particularly good in the summer, in the brewery’s large farmyard.

There has probably been an inn with a brewery, malt house, distillery and bakery at the site of today’s Gasthof Seitz since the end of the 16th century. In 1792, the chancery inspector Gottfried Köppel reported on the excellent beer that the Thuisbrunn brewer served during his inventory for the Prussian king.
