In every sip Zirndorfer beer is the tradition of more than 300 years. The Zirndorf Brewery was founded in 1674 by the Margrave Johann Friedrich von Ansbach. Already at that time strict regulations for the production of the beer were imposed on the “Preuverwalter”. Thus, “The good Zirndorfer” quickly became the name, even with beer connoisseurs in Nuremberg and in the pompous areas.
From the middle of the 19th century, the Zirndorf brewery, now privately owned, developed into one of the most famous Bavarian country breweries.
Today, the brewery in the Rote Straße is also a popular gastronomic address: in the Zirndorf brooding, you can enjoy the good local Zirndorf cuisine.
To this day, the Zirndorf brewery consistently continues its country beer tradition. Carefully selected raw materials and traditional recipes give the Zirndorfer beers their real, typical character.
