The roots of OeTTINGER Brauerei GmbH, based in Oettingen, Bavaria, date back to 1731. Today, OeTTINGER is one of the largest beer brands in Germany in terms of output and among the top 30 most influential breweries worldwide. Every year we fill around eight million hectoliters of beer, mixed beer drinks and soft drinks into around two billion bottles and cans. Around 800 employees work at the four brewery locations Oettingen Süd, Oettingen Nord, Mönchengladbach and Braunschweig as well as at the distribution center in Walldorf. Best quality, a diverse range, no advertising, gastronomy and cost drivers, a low price and international availability are firmly anchored in our corporate philosophy.
We obtain most of our raw materials from the regions around the four brewery locations and supply our customers throughout Germany from there with our own fleet of trucks. Since 1980 alone, we have received more than 250 national and international awards for our consistently high performance and long-standing product quality. Since 2013, our entire range of beers has carried the “Ohne Gentechnik” seal. Under our main brand OeTTINGER, we brew and mix more than 30 different beers and soft drinks, thus ensuring that there is always exactly the right thing for every taste in over 100 countries.
