When following the history of the Vereinsbrauerei Greiz we are witnesses to the historical development of a great brewing tradition.
Passed down knowledge, modern technology, indiginous ingredients and last but not least the sound technical knowledge of our master brewers are the basis of our Greizer beers. In our brewery beer is produced by hand. By hand means individual brewing preceedures, regional ingredients and the production of a beer with a long maturing period. This differentiates us in a very personal way from the globalised beers.
We are anchored in our region.
The individual tastes of a region are reflected in the water and the customs of the area. We stand for the region, the town and the place in which we brew our beer. Our aim is to create and maintain jobs not only in the brewery itself but also with those connected with us such as suppliers and services.
Regional brands and products tell the stories which increase the enjoyment. Regional products create transparency and thus security. Regionality develops the community spirit and brings about identity.
Environmentally conscience due to short distances. Whoever enjoys Greizer beer can do so with a clear conscience: short transportation routes, local jobs, added value to the region, and environmetally friendly reuseable containers.
