Burren Distillers was established in 2013 and began production of Irish Whiskey in 2019. We operate from a custom built facility in the heart of the Burren, at Newtown, Ballyvaughan. We specialise in Gaelic distilling heritage, producing a spirit known as Sean Gael which was developed during the 17th century. Our whiskey is a revival of an ancient profile, complex, round and deeply satisfying. Our team is comprised of Whiskey & Spirits Experts with over 100 years experience, business professionals and Whiskey enthusiasts. We welcome interest and visitors to our distillery in Ballyvaughan.
