Grolsch Premium Lager is a naturally ripened beer and has been brewed in the Netherlands since 1615. The high quality is due to the strict selection of the raw materials water, barley and hops and the application of traditional brewing methods in the most modern plants. The typically distinctive, slightly bitter-malty taste is produced by two different hop varieties: the German hop from the Hallertau gives Grolsch its fine bitterness, the Czech Saazer hop provides for a full-bodied taste body. Grolsch tastes best at a drinking temperature of six to eight degrees.
