Cervecerías Barú Panamá, parte del Grupo Heineken

In 1959, Cervecerías Barú-Panama was founded as a small regional company in the city of David, province of Chiriquí by a group of Panamanian businessmen led by Don Joaquín J. Vallarino E. and Don Eric Del Valle. One of its first brands produced was Cerveza PANAMA, which was launched in 1960.
Since our creation, 58 years ago, Cervecerías Barú Panama has been guided by providing the best service and quality to all our consumers, always thinking about their well-being, being entirely committed to surprising and pleasing them, to become their reference in the market.
Led by one of the most important brands in the industry, heirs to a great brewing tradition such as the Heineken group, at Cervecerías Barú Panama, we have a unique combination of local customs and the support of this group, where accompanied by a variety of brands, such as Heineken, Panama, Panama Light, Soberana, Soberana Radler, Budweiser, Paulaner and Guiness, we believe in the importance of balance between people and our planet.
We have a sustainability strategy, with more than 23 programs, which under the guidelines of our allied group, is based on three imperative pillars: Improve, Empower and Impact. These pillars are based on the continuous improvement of the environmental impact, on the importance of empowering our people and the communities where we operate and on generating a positive impact on the role of beer in society.
