Established in Tongyeong in 2019, Rheindeutsche Bührer is a brewery that adheres to traditional German brewing methods based on the Beer Purity Law and focuses on promoting the taste of pure German beer.
The predecessor of Rheindeutsch, DeBassus, a house beer franchise launched in 2003 during the house beer craze in the early 2000s, was operated throughout the country in Nuremberg, Germany, with a 400-year tradition of brewery technology and DBd- It was an innovative pub that used equipment from GmbH.
Unfortunately, as the popularity of house beer waned, Tongyeong Devasus also disappeared in 2012, but seven years later, in 2019, Tongyeong members who cherish traditional German beer reunited to start a new brand, Rheindeutsche Brewery.
We recruited Ralf Gerwert, a world-renowned brewmaster and CEO of Germany’s Devasus Brewery, and based on our experience and know-how, we created the Rheindeutsch Brewpub in Mireukdo, a special tourist zone in Tongyeong famous for its beautiful sunset. .
