The Miyagikyo Distillery is surrounded by rolling hills and forests. It was formerly known as Sendai Distillery, its name today derives from Miyagi Valley where the Sendai river mergers with the Nikkawa river. The distillery is owned by Nikka Whisky Distilling. It was the second distillery established by Nikka Whisky after Yoichi Distillerz in Hokkaido. Read more...
