Brew Toon Microbrewery & Café Bar

Once upon a time, in the Easternmost point of mainland Scotland, in the nautical town of Peterhead, there was an old brewery called the ‘Tanfield Brewery’. In troublesome times, its owners were forced to give it up and the brewery became a bakery.
The same fate that afflicted the brewer also forced the baker to abandon his butteries. For many years pigeons were ruling the historic space until an adventurous couple decided to buy the property and make it shine in a new light – by combining its brewing and baking history.
This is what we are working on at the moment, our local builders, painters and electricians are putting the final touches on the space and our first Brew Toon Lager is doing its magic in the fermentation tank. At our microbrewery we are brewing our beers in small batches and we are passionate about creating a brand new wave of unique craft beers – loaded with quality flavours and vibrant characters.
