The Bankhall name is steeped in history, and is an ode to the original distillery site in Liverpool, England, that was established centuries ago, in 1790.
In fact, Alfred Barnard’s invaluably detailed 1887 book ‘Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom’ cites four distilleries that he visited in England that were producing consumable alcohol at the time: ‘Bank Hall Distillery’ in Liverpool was one of them.
