Luckie Ales was established in 2009 and is an artisan microbrewery specialising in handcrafted Scottish beers and historic British ales. Brewing moved to Markinch in 2012, operating on a one-barrel plant. The brewery was sold in 2016, and relocated to new premises in Leven.
