Distillery built to supply single malt for Chivas Regal Blended Scotch Whisky. Allt a Bhainne means the Burn of Milk in Gaelic. It is the fourth distillery built by Seagram’s. The distillery was founded in 1975 by the Chivas Brothers Ltd. In 1989 the capacity of the distillery was increased by the installation of another two pot stills. Later in 2001 Chivas Brothers were sold to the Pernod Ricard Company.
