The Glen Keith distillery was built in 1957-1960 on the site of a corn mill by Chivas Brothers, who also owned the nearby Strathisla distillery. After being mothballed in 1999, the Glen Keith distillery was reopened in 2013. The new distillery’s production capacity has almost doubled to 6,000,000 litres of pure alcohol per year. Read more...

Aultmore Distillery is named afterthe phrase An t-Allt Mor, Gaelic for big burn, referring to its water source the Auchinderran burn. The Distillery was founded in 1895 by Alexander Edward, the owner of the Benrinnes distillery. In 1998 the distillery was sold back to Bacardi subsidiary Dewars, which had previously owened Aultmore between 1923 and 1925. Read more...
