Let There Be! Distillers, LLC was incorporated in 2013 and is based in Chicago, Illinois. Let There Be Distillers is a company founded by former bartender and moonshiner Brenton Engel (see the write-up at Time Out Chicago) of Chicago, Illinois. Note: despite the website and various press reports showing Letherbee Distillers we show here the name filed with the Tax and Trade Bureau as Let There Be! Distillers.
Letherbee Gin is made in the classic London Dry, juniper forward tradition and made to be a bartender’s gin.
The 2013 Beverage Testing Institute called Letherbee Gin absolutely delicious and super clean, which is something considering the relatively high bottling proof.
