Tailwinds Distilling Company was founded by entrepreneur Toby Beall after years of planning. He was soon joined by Jamey Beall as the brothers shared the vision of creating something original & going against the ‘grain’ in the American craft spirits industry. They are focused on returning America’s first distilled spirit to the states with a truly American rum & forging the way for a 100% Blue Agave Spirits distilled here in the United States.

Rum

Scheduled tours of the Tailwinds Distillery are usually held on Saturdays but are subject to change. The tours are guided by one of our distillers and last about 30 minutes. At the end of the tour you will be treated to samples of Tailwinds' spirits. You must be 21 years or older to reserve a tour spot but small children accompanied by an adult are welcome. Dress comfortable. While the tasting room is a nice climate, the distillery itself may be cool or hot depending on the season.
