Windy Ridge Vineyard & Winery originally opened for business just outside of Cayuga. We originally were Established as a Farm Winery on August 1, 2012, Also, we have been small & family operated from our conception. We have since closed our Cayuga location and in January of 2021, opened a location on the Courthouse Square in Covington Indiana. We started out as most people that like wine, by visiting different wineries, distilleries and wine trails. Then, Justin and Linda McLain decided to turn their hobby into a small business with their college backgrounds and entrepreneurial skills. We take pride in processing all of our wines from either locally sourced grapes or fruits. Additionally, we source juices from the West Coast to process all of our dry wine offerings. In August of 2015 we started up Windy Ridge Distillery! Primarily we wanted to make Brandy from our grapes, but we also offer clear whiskies (moonshine), bourbon, and flavored whiskies. We source our corn, barley and rye locally. In November of 2023, we opened Windy Ridge Brewing Co. after eleven months of a complete over hall on the barbershop next door. We make all of our own Craft Beer on site with a 1BBL SSBREWTECH.

Windy RIdge offers guests Wine/Spirits/Craft Beer Tastings and Flights, Unique Cocktails, Wine Slushies; all along with our amazing wood fired brick oven pizzas, while in a peaceful, welcoming, and unique environment.

On our Brewery Side you can choose from at least 4 of our hand-crafted beers made in house all in a Rock and Roll themed vintage decor.
