Our ownership group is comprised of a group of former Cerner associates who liked to get together and homebrew and meet for happy hour to try new craft beers. After many discussions about potentially starting our own craft brewery and a 3 year search for the right location – we finally launched Rockcreek Brewing Company on May 22nd, 2020.
Our Brewer, Trent Wiegers, is a perfect fit as the head brewer for our company. We all love a wide variety of styles and types of beers, and Trent knows how to brew exactly what we, and more importantly YOU want!
We plan to have a large variety of beers and frequent updates to our tap list, but we also plan to maintain some of our fan favorites as more consistently available options. Follow us on Untappd – both our tap and cans to-go menus are posted there.
Our slogan: Work Hard. Play Hard. DrinKC.
Work Hard. Play Hard. is a motto we borrowed from our Cerner days, and something many of us lived by during our careers. We have the same philosophy at Rockcreek, and now we have great craft beer to help us with the play hard part! DrinKC is our nod to drinking local. Kansas City has so many outstanding local craft beer options to choose from – we’re excited to be a part of the Kansas City craft beer scene!
