Threshers Brewing Co

We are two carpenters setting out for a career change. After home brewing for several years, and having a true admiration for craft beers, we have chosen to open a brewery. Threshers Brewing Co. will be located in Searsmont, ME behind the Fraternity Village Store. Searsmont is a small town, and known as the “friendliest town in Maine.” The town is quaint, and offers a slow paced getaway from a very busy world.
Though small, Searsmont is the location for the start of The Great Annual St. George River Canoe Race, featuring class 2 and 3 rapids. Our brewery will be crafting small batch quality brews in an industrial style building, now currently run as the Come Spring Business Park. We are really aiming to provide a very comfortable and family friendly atmosphere. We have noticed that a lot of micro breweries offer 3 IPA’s and a stout.
We want to be different and offer beer drinkers more choices, and the chance to discover beers they may not be as familiar with, such as the farmhouse ale. Threshers will have growlers available. We will start by selling our beer in house, and then expanding into bars and restaurants. Hope to see you in June.
