Shaun (Coach Taylor) and Jamil go way back to the basketball court at Wootton High in Montgomery County. They reconnected over a home-brewed beer years later and decided to create a brewery like no other. As the first black-owned brewery in MoCo, Coach Taylor and Jamil share a vision of making great beer accessible to everyone.
Zingabier – the scientific name for ginger – is a deliciously drinkable golden ale, brewed to bring cultures together. We taste a lightly sweet and malty beer with notes of spicy ginger and wildflower honey.
