Wildwood Brewing
The “Wildwood Project” began as a dream in early 2002, it assembles itself as a kind of auto poetic creation taking root in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana.
The Building. Integrates a salvaged timber frame barn originally built in 1901 that was deconstructed and transported from Wisconsin. The rest of the building consists of radiant heat concrete floors made from 30% recycled fly ash as well as over 800 straw bales that form and insulate the walls, creating a structure that is functional, efficient and Beautiful.
The Brewery. Housed within farms the yeast colonies responsible for the ancient beverage we call beer, which has cultured man kind for over twelve thousands years. The heart of the brewery consists of a four vessel brewhouse supplying the food for the yeast.
The Cellar. Which is where the yeast resides, transforming malt, hops and water into beer, is the soul.
We hope you enjoy our handcrafted USDA Organic beers and we thank you for supporting our efforts.
