RPG holds a special place in my heart. It originally stood for ‘Rum Propelled Gaming,’ a lighthearted term coined by my friends and me as we embarked on our weekly Dungeons & Dragons adventures in 2020. We continue to do so even now and you can join us on our Podcast Metagaming. While RPG also commonly refers to ‘Role-Playing Game,’ which accurately describes the genre of D&D, its deeper meaning for me lies in its ability to symbolize the adventure and imagination that fuels our lives, much like the rugged beauty of the Appalachian foothills where our distillery resides.To honor this layered significance, I named my distilling machine ‘Dragon.’ This nod to both the Chinese Zodiac of 2024 and the mythical creatures we chase in our D&D campaigns serves as a constant reminder of the magic and mystery that can be found in every aspect of life and every bottle from RPG-Distilling.
