Located in the heart of the Alberta Arts District, the flagship Great Notion location features a large outdoor beer garden, expansive taproom with great food, and a view into our original 7 bbl brewhouse. This is our R&D brewery where you can find exclusive, experimental beers you might not find at any other Great Notion! Guests of all ages are welcome! Leashed, friendly dogs can also join in the fun in our garden space. No cash will be accepted at this time.
Hungry? GN Alberta is excited to host Matt’s BBQ Tacos from our kitchen! Paired with our award-winning IPA, Ripe, and you’ve got a championship meal at your fingertips.Matt will serve up the same great Texas BBQ Tacos found at their original cart, but on house-made lard-infused flour or vegan corn tortillas pressed and cooked to order.
Join us every Saturday and Sunday for breakfast tacos. Doors open at 8am for weekend brunch, while the bar opens at 9am.
