After more than six years in planning, the Port of Pittsburgh Distillery, LLC will open for onsite production in late 2017 at 2613 Smallman Street, formerly housing “Artistry Furniture”, in Pittsburgh’s beloved Strip District.
While we’ve been working through the lengthy legal and bureaucratic gauntlet, our head distiller has been busy distilling small batches at various locations around the globe, from Southern California to New England, from the UK to Mexico, Italy and France, – making friends, sharing recipes and collaborating.
With our beautiful, custom hybrid pot still, designed in Italy and built in the Black Forest of Germany specifically to our specifications, we’ll be distilling a meticulously cultivated selection of rare and premium distilled spirits and liqueurs from around the world.
Standing at the confluence of tradition and innovation we aim to produce spirits of the highest quality using only the best possible practices and the finest, natural raw ingredients.
