A glimpse into our journey to raise 1560 cold climate grapevines and grow a family on our country homestead outside of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Our current focus is developing the grape vines to full maturity and producing high quality fruit. This has proven to be a challenge given the unpredictable Midwestern climate, but we are hopeful for the future after experiencing two minimally successful harvests. For the past two years our grapes have been crafted into local wines made by Elmaro Vineyards (specifically the La Crescent and St Pepin varietals).
We are not currently functioning as a retail winery, but John has been perfecting his home wine making recipes with great results! His Frontenac Rosé has been a favorite!
