Birra Castello has existed since 1997 and is actually a very young brewery in Friuli. However, the brewery was set up in an old existing production facility in San Giorgio di Nogaro. This production facility was previously owned by Heineken S.p.A. and was the old brewery of the still existing Birra Moretti brand, which Heineken completely took over in 1996. Read more...
